Tufting Machine. Peow, peow! To get things started, you'll need a tufting machine. There are several types of tufting guns broken into two main categories: low pile, and high pile. I would recommend starting with a low pile machine. Learn more about Tufting Machines in this article.

Tufting Cloth. You'll need a rug backing to tuft the yarn into. Our Tufting Cloth is composed of quality fabric and durable for long. It has a yellow weft yarn insertion with 5cm intervals that help you stretch the cloth properly and keep your design in place. You can shop it here.

Yarn. There are many types of yarns. But one thing is for sure: The higher the quality of your yarn the more success you will have with the gun. I would recommend using wool yarn as it's the perfect option for both rug and wallhanging pieces. That's why we choosed it for our shop.
You can also use acrylic or cotton yarn. Find out here more about yarns.

Tufting Frame. The cloth needs to be held properly in a frame. There are already many tutorials on Youtube how to build a frame.
Or you can check out Tuft.Love's post on Instagram. We used it as well and found it very helpful. Check her out!

Finishing Materials. Once you tufted your design onto the cloth you'll need to finish it. Depending on what it should become (wall piece, floor rug, garment) you'll need different materials. I will explain it to you in this article.
